Embrace your curiosity and join award winning ceramic artist Shannon Garson on a 6 day creative discovery of Maleny and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland .
I’ve hand-picked a selection of intimate experiences to inspire and delight all our senses. We are invited behind the scenes to visit artist's workshops and studios. We will enjoy long lunches, after exploring the studios, sample local food and wine and soak in the breathtaking landscape of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Slow breakfasts, bespoke tableware, magnificent rainforests, luxury accommodation and intimate gatherings sharing local food with artists, designers, farmers, chefs and fellow creative voyagers.

Creative Voyage
Creative Voyages are immersive small group tours. Creative Voyages last between 5-10 days and are deeply creative experiences where you will get a glimpse of art and artisans in their own homes and studios. Step out of your everyday life and come on an adventure, making, art talking to artists, filling your heart with the wild beauty. Creative Voyages are for anyone creative, if you are an artist, want to be artistic or have always felt that you are creative but just don’t know how to start…… Come on a creative voyage with me and, meet artists, explore studios, let the salt spray tangle in your hair, watch spectacular sunsets with a local wine in hand, lunch with chefs, explore, and uncover the treasures inside you.
Workshops
I love sharing the techniques, skills and knowledge I’ve built up over years of practice. My workshops are intensely creative and practical, building up a library of technical skills to use when creating lively, meaningful pots and talking about colour, pattern, professional practice, inspiration, history and aesthetics.
Designed as a creative boost for experienced and emerging artists in any field, to germinate your ideas and inspire you with new techniques.
Workshops always include a smorgasbord of creative kick starters from intense hands-on making, through to feasting, music, and and inspiration motivation!

The handmade table is a phrase that encompasses the celebratory, a gathering of people eating and sharing food, stopping for a while, in the midst of busy noisy lives and taking pleasure in simple things.
