"Wrack" premiere of a new body of work in Maleny

Celebrate the launch of of my new body of work-”Wrack”

I have never had the opportunity to show a major body of exhibition work in Maleny, this project enables local audiences to see this work first.  The work will go on to be exhibited in other galleries around Australia. The first group of work will go to Beaver Galleries in Canberra in February 2024.

The Tessellated Pavement is a rare geological formation on the East Coast of Tasmania.  Laid down millions of years ago the siltstone formations have moved and eroded to form a rock shelf of rectangular pans where the sea has eroded the stone to form puddles and loaves  where the stone lies side by side plump formations, a stony baker’s dozen of fresh baked rolls.

Come along on the weekend of September 30th to see this new work first! There is an opening event that includes a collaboration between myself, musician Louise King and emerging filmmaker Daphne Hart on the evening of September 30. Book tickets HERE
